LORI BEAN

The Maliya Wellness Centre for Women, Teens & Children was founded by Lori Bean, inspired by her own journey through chronic pain and mental health struggles after a life-changing car accident. Despite seeing numerous doctors with no relief, Lori's search for answers led her to explore the concept of the soul, which she initially dismissed. She realized that true healing comes from aligning the body, mind, and soul—recognizing that unresolved trauma, unhealthy relationships, and misaligned lives could manifest as illness.

This awakening led Lori to a soul retreat in Arizona, where she discovered the power of working with caring practitioners to heal and reconnect with her authentic self. Lori left her successful career and marriage to pursue a new path of wellness, leading to her full recovery. Inspired by her experience, Lori and her sister, Alyssa Rabin, created Maliya Wellness Centre to offer a holistic approach to health that nurtures the whole person.

Maliya stands out with its collaborative model: practitioners work together to create personalized care plans tailored to each client’s needs. This means clients no longer have to go from one practitioner to another—everything they need is in one place. The name “Maliya,” meaning “sea of rebelliousness,” reflects the Centre’s mission to empower women to rise up, advocate for their health, and support one another in their healing journeys.

With services like Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, Hormone Therapy, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, and more, Maliya provides comprehensive care for women, teens, and children. Through workshops, events, and group offerings, Maliya fosters community, connection, and healing. It’s not just a wellness centre—it's a movement for women to embrace their truth and live authentically.
