We are seeking an experienced Registered/Provisional Child Psychologist or Clinical Social Worker (MSW) to join the Maliya Wellness Centre located in the beautiful town of Cochrane, Alberta. We are a team of collaborative care practitioners dedicated to supporting women, teens, and children on their journey to well-being.
We are seeking a psychologist who specializes in counselling for children, teens, and women. You must possess a deep sense of care, compassion, and the desire to collaborate with all practitioners on our team. We offer convenient online booking and direct billing, marketing and social media, full-time reception, beautiful therapy rooms, and on-site parking. We offer a competitive fee split for contractors.
A successful candidate will:
Provide counselling to children, teens and women using evidence-based practices.
Address emotional, behavioral, and relational issues, and help clients develop coping strategies.
Contribute to holistic treatment plans and interventions.
Be able to work virtually and/or in-person, as the client requires.
Be registered within Alberta
Individual insurance and liability are required.
Committed to between 20-25 hours of client work per week.
Must be able to attend monthly team meeting at 12:30 pm on the 2nd Friday of every month.
Have schedule flexibility to work days, some evenings and Saturdays
Master’s degree required.

Pay: $141.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
