So often, we are left to our own devices when it comes to managing our well-being. Many of us feel unsatisfied by unfulfilling services and frustrated by the time, money, and energy poured into yet another attempt at healing. We are expected to research countless modalities, find the right practitioners, and book appointments on our own. At Maliya, we take care of all of this for you.

At Maliya, your care and well-being is our priority. In addition to being the owners of the centre, we also serve as your Wellness Specialists, bringing both professional expertise and lived experience into your care. Having navigated our own complex health journeys, we deeply understand how overwhelming, confusing, and isolating the healing process can feel—and how important it is to be truly heard.

Through our Collaborative Care Model, we take the time to listen with care and intention, ensuring you feel seen and understood. We then create a customized plan and thoughtfully guide you toward the services that will be most supportive for you—helping you understand where to begin and protecting you from investing time, money, and energy into care that isn’t aligned with your needs.

Because we know our practitioners and their services inside and out, we are able to act as a trusted bridge between you and your care team. Our intention is for you to feel supported every step of the way, confident in your care, and held within a system that truly understands both the clinical and human sides of healing. Giving Back

We invite clients to donate gently-used books about women’s healing, growth, and empowerment to fill our library. All books are sold for $7.00 each and 100% of funds are donated to the Big Hill Haven Women’s Shelter in Cochrane.

Maliya is a centre for women, teens, & children.
We welcome and celebrate all woman-identifying and non-binary persons of any race, religion, age, sexual orientation, and ability.

Are Maliya’s services covered by my insurance plan?

Many of our services at Maliya may be eligible for insurance coverage. Before booking, please review the practitioner’s bio (see the bottom of their profile) to confirm which insurance options are available.

If you think your service could be covered under your Health Care Spending Account, please check directly with your provider in advance.

If your service is covered, contact us at Maliya to confirm whether we can direct bill to your insurance company, or if you’ll need an invoice receipt to submit for reimbursement.
